History

Natasha comes from a long line of Russian werewolves. Her family’s pack has lived in the same hamlet in the Russian Urals for centuries. For the most part they have been left alone with little contact with the outside world, just the occasional modern convenience like electricity, satellite TV, satellite phones and the internet.

As with all werewolf litters are Natasha was born under a full moon.  Her litter was a bit unusual because of the color variation amongst the fur of the pups. Three had the slightly uncommon black fur while she had the once in a generation blond fur. This was taken as a good omen.  Her upbringing was normal for her kind, training, spring hunts, summer hunts, fall hunts, and winter feasting and celebrations. After being the first generation to grow up with TV she grew restless and with her family’s blessing she went to seek her way in the world.

As an adult she worked her way across the continent discovering her love of food and learning all that she could becoming quite an accomplished chef in any number of cuisines. Eventually her travels took her to America and the Seattle area where she fell in love with the food, the people, the scenery and the strong natural background energy of the aetheric nexus.

She had little heroing experience (just stopping the occasional mugging or gang fight) before she encountered Grande battling the Woodwose in the middle of a downtown park. After the fight they got to talking and decided to try to apply to the Emerald City Defenders. They were thanked for their time but rejected. The reasons given were their lack of experience and the strong chance that the property damage that they would cause from their fights would be too high for their insurance deductibles. After a bit of talking Grande convinced her that forming their own team would be a great idea.

Personality:

Natasha is a bit more serious and business minded than the other members on her team. Her extensive traveling and her job as head chef has definitely prepared her for high pressure environments and giving orders as necessary. She and Roland try to coordinate the group’s activities and spending habits. No sense in them going broke before they can do a good job.

Relationships with teammates:

She like Betony’s work ethic and finds her eternal frustration with their enemies amusing. She thinks that Betony is going to live up to her family’s legacy, in her own style.

She finds Grande cute, but doesn’t really know why. He is completely not her usual type. His attitude and need to prove himself is good, but she thinks that when he finally gets over his head he is really going to be in deep. He needs to recognize his limitations.

Roland and her are surprisingly good friends, even despite the stereotypical cat and dog thing. She respects him and is surprised by his insights occasionally.

She also feels that Crusader has potential and a good future ahead of him once he learns more about what he can do. His quick wit and willingness to step up is a good fit that she thinks will only help the team.
